To minimise the risk of overspending, it's very important that you have a budget and stick to it. There are different types of budgets based on your personal needs. As an example, a family may have one budget where they purchase food and other basic necessities while another budget is used for entertainment items like concerts, vacations, or shopping trips.

Start first by identifying what motivates you . Sometimes we choose to spend money because we want to prove ourselves that we're important and successful. But most of the time, overspending is just a symptom of underlying problems.
If you are having difficulties with your spending, ask yourself these questions:
What do I want?
-Plan for your life down the road. This will necessitate a budget (the earlier the better).
-Have a plan for how you want to live in the future (professional, family, etc.).
-Do some research on what 'normal people' are doing. What is their spending habits like?

My spending habits was working overdrive before now maybe cuz I was little dependent on my parents so I didn't have issues spending money not until I have to leave home and I discovered that I had a bad spending habit I needed to change or else I'll always be broke.

Ever since I realised that and try working on it it has gotten better so we are still work in progress but I like the progress I am seeing now and I hope it continues that way so as I have always stated to have a good financial life we need to put her spending habits in check.

Nothing keeps one permanently on the low like spending money indiscriminately when once you don't track all of your spending habits you're opening yourself to bad financial days. thiscwill make youn live in financial frustration and regrets. we always have to put a financial act together.

A situation in which a person has enough money physically could leads to overspending and that is also the one of the things that makes me to spend money unnecessarily on things that doesn't make sense in my life .

Most of the time , I try as much as possible to save my money in the bank and I do not withdraw so much money than I need . There are so many things in life that could easily make you spend money within a twinkle of an eye .

So now , the only thing that could make me spend money is my academic needs and demands and some of the necessities in life that cannot be completely avoided and I also try as much as possible to avoid every situations that would make me spend. People who are addicted to certain things could actually spend a whole lot of their money in such thing.

In other for an individual to minimise the risk in which he or she spends money he or she must first of all become convinced on the reasons why he or she need to manage his or her wealth. Managing your wealth is not only necessary when you are rich and wealthy but rather it can also be necessary because individuals usually have other priorities and other financial related responsibilities to play such as investing and saving money. In order to reduce the risk of overspending money you can try preparing a budget from time to time when you try to purchase for yourself needs and once possibly for a particular month or week.

When you budget your needs and wants you become more conscious on how you spend your income. And also you create space for other financial priorities and responsibilities such as saving money and investing it to yield more money.
