How to make sales on your first day in business.

After all the preparations, feasibility study, strategy testing et all, a proposed business would be officially opened on a set day. While sales is not really expected to happen on that day, being able to make sales on the first day of your business launching would be a real morale booster. So what can you do to make sales on the opening day or launch day of your business?

1) Generate Buzz way before the launch date: Make sure there is so much noise about the launch of the business. Use social media, engage influencers, do street tours, flag customised T shirts all to create awareness of the incoming business and it's launch date.

2) Offer pre opening incentives: Offer customers discounts and offers that would trigger them to buy on opening day. Cashbacks, gifts and giveaways are strategies that can drive sales on opening day of a business.

3) Partner with complementary businesses to boost sales: Get in contact with complementary businessess and strike partnerships that would trigger launch day sales.
