How to Make Over 1000 USD Per Month Through Affiliate Marketing

Before I proceed and teach you how to make more than $1000 per month through affiliate marketing, I need to tell you this method requires you to spend money on ads. Therefore, if you do not have money to run ads, you might not be able to use this method.

Go to a website called Capterra.com. This platform is a database of different kinds of software. By using Software Category tab, check the software you want to promote. Once you find software that has high chances of selling, go to the software website and see if they have affiliate program. If they have an affiliate program, search the software on google. If you don’t see any ads for that software, create an ad for the product and use your affiliate link in the ad.

When people search for the product, they will see your ad on the top. If they clicked on the ad and end up buying the software you earn commission.

In order to make money from this method, you need to do search engine marketing. Search engine marketing involves running ads on a search engine so that your ad appears under the ad section or sponsored listing. YOu will pay only when visitors click on the ads, and your ad will be displayed only when you are offering a high CPC rate for the ad. The average CPC rate for a google search ad is $2, which means you need to pay $2 on average for the clicks on your search ads. All clicks will not result in product purchases. Normally, there is a 5-10 percent conversion, which means when100 people click on your ads, there will be 5-10 sales. If there are 100 clicks, you will be spending $200 on ads (based on the average CPC rate) if the product cost $100 and you bet 20 percent commission you might be able to make $100-$200. Does not look very profitable method.

Good analysis @Mika , affiliate marketing is not really easy as some people make it to seem because if you make some mistakes you may end up spending a lot of money without making any money.

I always advise people who wants to go into affiliate marketing to try as much as possible to find a very good traffic method especially when they have their own website.

If you have a website that specialises on reviewing softwares then you can go to the platform and look for a very good software to promote on your website. When people visit your website there will be some conversions and at the end of the day you will be profitable because you did not spend any money on ads.

Running ads sometimes can result to a lot of losses and you will not be able to make any tangible money for yourself. Proper research is always important and needed.

I don't think running ads to generate affiliate sales is a good idea. Let's say you get a 20 percent affiliate commission. Let's say you sold 100 products with a price tag of $10 and earned a $200 affiliate commission. If you are running ads for your affiliate products, do you think you will be able to recover your advertising budget, even if you recovered your ad budget, do you think you will be making enough profits? Making $1000 per month through affiliate marketing might be too ambitious, however, I believe you can easily make $100 through affiliate marketing provided you have a high-traffic website or social pages with a huge following. Let's say you have a blog that receives 2-3k daily traffic, in that case, you can easily generate 2-3 affiliate sales every day. Likewise, if you have social pages with at least 20-30k followers, you might be able to generate affiliate sales every day

Is $1000 a month good for affiliate marketing? I'm new to all of this. The only thing I've used is The Currency Stone. I'm close to making $400 in a week, but I don't have a large social media following. I started at a 30% return for each person that joins. It claims to go up to 70% after enough sales. I'm trying lol.
