Graphic designing skills: You need graphic designing skills to design your products. It does not matter what you are selling, physical or digital product, you need graphic designing skills. With out this skill, you cannot create products for your merch store
SEO skills: Whether you are selling from your own store (on your own website) or a store in other ecommerce marketplaces like ebay, Amazon, etc. you need SEO skills to rank your product on internal and external search. If your product does not have any visibility, buyers will never find it, so there will be no sales.
Digital Marketing: depending on SEO alone is not enough to generate sales, you need need digital marketing skills. You need to market your products on various platforms to generate sales.
Run ads: You might also have to run a paid advertising to generate sales.
