Recent their been and increase in the number of scam sites that promise their member amount but don't deliver on their promises.
How can you identify these sites?

1. The ROIs are just too good to be true, when you come across a site that promise to double or triple your investment, you should suspicious of such sites

2. Their founders or owners are often unknown.

3. Their communication system is poor

4. There are always lots of testimonies on the site.

If you notice any of these you should be suspicious of such site.

The following may help identify investment sites that may be scam:
  • HYIP sites, hyip sites have a very high risk of being turned into a scam, some people may have joined and got their payment within 24 hours (hyip profit general time) with a profit of 200% of the total investment. But beware, this site could even turn into a scam less than 24 hours after release.
  • An investment site with huge returns in 30 days or less. It is similar to a hyip site but with a longer time. Be careful with sites like this even though the possibility of a scam is not as big as a HYIP.
  • Find a scam review, this is more information is needed. Review forums about investment sites will provide important information for investors to know and stay away from investment sites with bad reviews.

Of course identifying a scam project is not easy but there are signs that will help you. A project that has a fake SSL certificate and DDOS protection. If the project has a low-cost design and domain. If the hype is open for a long time there is a risk that it will soon become SCAM

At first I want to thank you for sharing this wonderful information with us, it's really insightful and practical.

No one likes to be scammed because the experience is awful and pathetic. Some Poeple out there are just look for a way to milk on other people time, money and effort.

There are many ways Poeple perpetrate these scam programs. Just like the original poster said those site often lure Poeple with high earning and I have once falled for this when I was desperate to earn money online.

Another tactic they used is promise a lucrative offer which someone cannot resist. The offer will be juicy and fascinating, this done when they woo you to upgrade.

Investment scams abound now more than ever on the internet. You will see them telling you that you will make 200 percent of your investment in 24hours. Really how can that be possible? If it is true they will not be soliciting for other's funds. I also agree with too much of testimonies on the site, you will see them all the time claiming it is true dont miss it, they are all lies. Don't lose your hard earned money to scammers, research well before you invest.

Scams are the biggest challenge in the online earning community , they are of different categories.becuse the scammers adopt different challenges. Scam in Investments sites are easy to identify right from the Investment plans you can sense if it is scam or not most sites promising to pay 5% daily are mostly scam though they may not scam immediately but certainly after weeks or a month they will scam you. Online earning sites also scam people by promising unrealistic rewards that when compared to the tasks you will know it not measure able

Any kind of website that promisies insane returns on your investement is definitely a scam. There is no way any business in the world generate a good amount of revenue and distributes the profits to its investors. A website that asks for personal information is also most likely a scam. Many investment try to attract greedy people by offering them profits on per hour basis and such websites become a scam in no time. Most of the online HYIP programs are scams and ponzi schemes.

The first red flag for me is always the issue of ROI, when it is too good to be true, it might just be. So one needs to be very careful. Yea , another is the anonymity of the owner, nowhere of tracking it them, then one should read reviews before investing

Yes, if only people can put aside greediness we would not be falling prey for these scams or their dubious ways. There are obvious red flags on these sites but we always choose to ignore because of the huge rewards promised. All doubler sites are frauds, they may even pay people at the start and when many people start investing, they come up with demands or conditions that people can't meet up with and disappear with the funds.
