Yeah you know that it is always stated that a bad character is like pregnancy you can't hide it for long. There traits are always there so it behovea on the director, employer ir the owner of the business to take a good look to detect such people easily to nip bad behavior such as this in the bud

So I believe a business owner shouldn't always mind the money involved to get a professional like an auditor to look into the book of accounts at least once monthly. I could recall a story that my friend told me about the business organisation that he worked as a staff , he told me that the business manager was complaining that the business income we are getting missing because the total amount realised at the end of the day does not correspond with the total amount of inventory and stock being sold . Unknowingly to the employees the business employer or manager sort out for a test in order to find out who was stealing his money . What he did was to install a hidden camera in the area which the business income was always stored , in this way he was able to catch the thief red-handed and with evidence .
