If you are a newbie and want to register a domain name for your blog, you might be overwhelmed because there are a lot of options available.

Let say, your chosen name for the domain is HealthTips. When you try to register this name, you will find that dot com for this domain it already taken. Unless you have a lot of money to buy this domain from the owner, you will have to look for alternate names. If you are bent on registering a dot com, you might be registering something like HealthTips4U.com, eHealthTips101.com, etc. However, if you look for other extensions you might be using something like HealthTips.website, HealthTips.online etc.

The domain names mentioned above are just an examples and these might be already taken. You should be very careful in choosing the name and the domain extension.

It will be unwise for people thay want to create domain for their businesses for not considering some factors before they do it. Though there may be expensiveness or even scarcity of some domains but since those domain aim at the sad thing, he can still make use of some unpopular domain to achieve his aim.

You should have void exact match domain name when you are registering one for a website. There is a Google algorithm update which target exact match domain name. the domain name you are going to register for your website must be short and memorable. This is one of the factors people returned to your website.

Interesting examples. In my opinion, the domain name should match your topic. for example, if your blog is about travel, you should use a word that is related to traveling in your domain. However, instead of a broader topic, choose specific niches. For example, if your blog is about keto diet, use keto as the name instead of health.

Yea! To identify a website clearly, the domain name plays a very important role. Normally, people want to use a simple name for the name itself and related activity. Most often this simple liked domain is already used by other user. Then there comes a problem for choosing a name. At that time, one has to choose the name wisely like the suggested examples.

You may not get the best second-level domain for your chosen top-level domains, but if you compromise with the top-level domain, you can get your choice of second-level domains. Imagine you want to get mywebsite.com, if you cannot find mywebsite.com you can look for mywebsite.net, or org or any name of your choice.

If you consider using the new top level domains, you can get hands on any second level domains you want. If you consider only few top level domains like dot com, not net, dot org, etc. you may not find the second level domain name that you have in mind.

That's very true. If you are determined on getting a dot com, you may not find the perfect domain name, but if you think about using newer domain names for example, xyz, club, online, website, cc. you might get the domain of your choice. You need to give emphasis on getting a unique name.

Domain names might sound very ordinary but they contribute very well to the growth of a website. You should try to make your domain name as short as possible and it should be related to the business no matter what.
