How to carry out proper product testing

Testing your product is an important part of the development process, but it's also a process that requires careful attention and planning. In order to properly test your product, you'll need to have a good understanding of what your product is supposed to do, how it should perform and behave in certain situations, and what its limitations are. You'll also need to have a clear idea of how you want users to interact with your product.

Once you've established these things, it's time for testing! There are many different types of testing that can be done during this stage, including:

- Paper prototypes

- Interactive prototypes (interactive wireframes)

- Usability testing sessions with actual users

- Remote user testing sessions using video conferencing software like Skype or Zoom

It's also advisable you test your product in different environments. Testing in different environments gives you a better idea of how your product will perform in real-world situations. For example, if you're developing a mobile app for a restaurant, you might want to test it at several different restaurants to see how it works under various conditions (for example: one restaurant might be busy, another might have fewer people). This will help ensure that when the app launches, it will work reliably and consistently across all locations.
