How to Build an Email List

How can you convert your leads to cold hard cash?

Well, you need an audience.

How do you build an audience?

You can do it in two ways one, by building a community on social media channels, and two, by getting people genuinely sign up to your email list.

When you have an email list, you can easily sell products and services. But the question is how to build an email list.

People don’t buy immediately, therefore, if you send an email with your products and services, people will start unsubscribing.

What you need to do is offer something valuable in exchange of email.

Let’s say, you offer a free ebook about gardening (if that is your niche), or how to start soap making (soap making tutorial) etc. In a short time you can build a big list. Remember, these are genuine people. You can continue to send them informative emails for few days, then you can start introducing your product slowly.

If you want to build an email list, you need to find ways to get people's attention. And when you have a big mailing list, it's easy to do that.

But if you're not sure how to do this, it can be frustrating. And the longer you wait, the more difficult it will be.

So how do you get people's attention? If you don't know what works, then try something simple first. Like this:

1. Write a blog post about something related to your business or product. Make sure it has value for your audience and is interesting enough that they'd want to read more about it (but not too much more).

2. Post that blog post on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter with a link back to your website (or even better, make it an email opt-in form!). Then ask people if they want more information in their inbox by clicking on the link or by sending them an email with a link inside of it.

The key here is making sure that each blog post has something valuable in it so that people will want more information from you after reading it!

I think the goal should be high quality engaged users over numbers. I found I spend a long time getting huge email lists with poor conversion rates

Email marketing become effective only when you are sending emails to the right person. When the email reaches the right person, they might buy the products and services, and in turn, you make money. So the whole point of email marketing turns into cold hard cash. However, it is really difficult to get people to subscribe to your products or services. if you try to get emails through hook or crook, your emails will land in the spam box, when people are not checking your emails, there will be no conversion, and no sales and your entire effort of email marketing become a waste. in order to lure people to subscribe to your products and services, you will have to give them something of value. If you are offering valuable services or products, people will be genuinely interested in subscribing to your email service. You can build an email list by offering something for free.
