Let me begin with one simple question.

If you want to drink a cold drink, would you choose Coca Cola or XYZ Cola?

Well, you would of course choose Coca Cola because it is a well known brand.

Now, let me ask you another question.

Let’s assume that XYZ Cola is promoted by Tom Cruise or Ronaldo. What would you buy Coca Cola or XYZ Cola? You might perhaps want to try XYZ Cola because you already know how Coca Cola tastes and want to experiment with XYZ Cola.

This is called branding. You chose Coca Cola over XYZ Cola in the first case because it is a big brand, but in the second case you are willing to try XYZ Cola because you are a fan of the brand ambassador. And you believe that the brand ambassador promoting the product will never promote bad product.

Branding is very important marketing strategy to reach out the potential customers, build trust among your potential customers, penetrate the target market, generate sales, and earn revenue.

Lifestyle marketing is one of the most important aspects of building your branding. Lifestyle marketing uses brand ambassadors to promote and market the products. When you are doing lifestyle marketing, you are not just promoting the products, you are promoting the lifestyle of the brand ambassadors.

I agree with this post because we know that an endorser sometimes can make or break the success of the product. That is the reason why businesses would pay top dollar to a popular endorser. Take for instance tennis. Those professional tennis players who are highly ranked are earning more money from endorsements than from winning tournaments. The world number 1 male player is Novak Djokovic who earns $41 million in a year from the products that he endorsed. He could earn half of that by winning all the big tournaments. Even in other sports, the players are raking in money from endorsements. On the side of business, you cannot hire an endorser if you have no millions for the budget. Endorsers cost money and you also have the problem if your product will be approved by the endorser.
