Because one needs to be knowledgeable first in the business before venturing into it. I think there is even a course on insurance in higher institutions

Yes, the more ideal thing when it comes to becoming a successful instance agent is 'having a background knowledge about the insurance premium packages he or she is promoting. You need marketing skills. If you do not have marketing skills, you cannot sell policies.
You need persuasive skills. If you cannot persuade people to buy policies, you cannot succeed.
You need networking skills. If you can not build a network, you can not become a successful insurance agent.

Ready before you're in with insurance you'll be trained and guided with the right mindset in what you suppose to know. That will enable you to convince people and bring customers to the insurance company which will enable the growth of the insurance company. Without customers the company can't grow, that's why they make use if agent.

Yeah you need to portray some form of honesty , because that is actually what would make people trust your deals and want you to refer them to the insurance company you are really trying to promote I think ,many agent don't read those rules before going into an insurance business

Yes, many agents are far from reading the rules properly when they are referred to any insurance company. They failed to ask the agent sometimes because of being in a haste. They simply want to invest by all means and start reaping profit without knowing how such policy works.

Yes, no one knows what the future truly holds for him or her. When I entered into online I was very much shy when it comes to running affiliate marketing, or serving as a third party agent promoting a product to earn commission. If you're determined you'll surely succeed as an insurance agent, because you'll take your time learning how it works.
