It can be depressing to wake up one day to see or hear that your property has collapse. This can't be funny especially if you have sunk in money into the property and it still collapses. This means that a whole lot of money will be needed again to erect such. So the best bet is to prevent the collapse from happening in the first place.
So how can you always avoid this collosal loss as a property owner

Be sure that the property you are building has a good foundation. Let the foundation be solid for the building.

Avoid the use of substandard raw materials or cheap raw materials for the building

Find time to always supervise the project. Yes it is good to have the project supervisor but your presence is also needed to see what is going on

Use skilled hands for the job avoid cheap labor that can't give a quality job. When the building collapses you would lose more.

Add yours.

You should avoid losing your property through building collapse through this process:
Building Collapse Inspection
Before you start to build, you should have a building survey done by a registered engineer or architect. The survey will identify any problem areas that need fixing, and give you the opportunity to discuss them with the engineer or architect.

The building survey process is designed to ensure that all aspects of the site are safe for construction work. The surveyor will check for any possible hazardous conditions on the site, such as loose soil or unstable rock faces. They will also check for any existing signs of subsidence in areas where there may be potential problems if foundation piles are dug too deep into the ground.

If there are any problems with the site, they will be identified and addressed before any construction work begins. This will help prevent future problems from occurring, which could cause serious damage to your property and finances.

Yeah it can be really frustrating if one has its property collapsed at the end of the day after building. This is why it should be avoided right from day 1. You need to use quality material for the building no matter how expensive it will be. it will help save one from any kind of damage let alone being collapsed.

Yeah I agree with you one will need to bring in an Engineer thatwill suevey the site appropriately to give exact measurements and way by which one should be able to build on a land. One thing with property collapse is that it can be deadly as well. Apart from the monetary aspect that might be involved, you can also have it collapse on people which might turn out a disaster. It can really be a disaster so the best bet will be to get the right things done right from the beginning.

I am going to talk on your post which is the way of avoiding loosing your property through collapsing , at first you need to employ the best engineer if you want your project to be succesful and last longer , avoid employing quack and the inexperienced bricklayer because you are trying to save money which you will later spend more if care is not taken into consideration .
Insurance is the best way to make sure your properties and buildings is secure even though the building collapsed , then insurance company will build another building for you.

Another point is that you need a good foundation that the building will stand upon because with a weak foundation , your buildings is bound to collapse and thats why You don't need to manage material and always use enough .
avoid buying cheap building material because its another reason why your building might collapse ,

Your submission is apt because it can be disheartening to find out that your building you must have spent so much to build is already collapsing which might need you starting all over again. I don't think anything can be more frustrating than this

So each person that needs to start a building project must start by buying good quality raw materials. big you can not buy them yourself I will request till when you are free so that you get them yourself. people you might use might want to short change you by buying sub-standard raw materials.

When once the raw materials are not of quality of course you are likely to have a collapse building sooner or later. This will be same with hiring newbies for your job, you would end up spending more when they make your building collapse due to bad production. so it is better to get very high quality materials and workers.
