How Democracy Provides Favorable Environment for Businesses

I live in a republic, there is a democracy in the country, where the elected government rules for 5 years and then peacefully transfer the power to the successive government. However, about 25 years ago, there was an absolute monarchy. Ten years of bloody conflict overthrew the King.

When there was political instability, the country was mainly relying on foreign aid, and the country's debt increased day by day. Businesses were not performing well, trade and commerce were not doing good. People were afraid to invest in new ventures, industries were going bankrupt.

Now, that there is democracy in the country, there is a favorable market for business, new investments are coming in, new businesses are sprouting, and the country’s GDP has substantially improved.

Even though there is no democracy in some countries and democracy is not working properly in some countries, democracy is the ideal political system for the 21st century and beyond. Democracy is a government of the people, by the people, for the people (according to Abram Lincoln’s definition). When there is no democracy, not only people will suffer but the country’s economy will also suffer badly.

Democracy provides a favorable environment for businesses. When there is democracy people will trust their government and will be encouraged to do business.

Which democracy it is more predictable and somebody can be able to know the direction of the policies of government. Any other system of government might not be able to guarantee you this and it will be very difficult for businesses to flourish successfully in this kind of places.

Democracy in our own country is not favourable at all. Take for example ; In a country where there is no good security there is tendency that people in that country may not enjoy trading at all.
Where there is no good security their will be no investors because they will be panic so that their company will not collapse.
I believe any government that can not perform better than the formal most not perform lesser .

Before every business sector s in the country will be doing well the government of the country mist be doing very well and good.

Democracy is needed not only for the country to prosper but also for the general public to earn better and live a better life. When there is no democracy, not only the market is unfavorable, there are also few income opportunities. Democracy opens the door for trade and commerce, it will bring investment, and investment will create income opportunities.

Democracy provides a favorable environment for business, that's why the United States of America is world's biggest economy. But how did China manage to become a big economy even though it does not have democracy? Democracy is not always necessary. India and China were at the same place after the second world war, but China went bigger and bigger, where as India is far behind China when it comes to GDP and economic progress. More than political system what you actually need a political stability. Even though there is no democracy in China, there is political stability, which is helping China to grow big.

Democratic government creates free system for the people or the electorates to exercise their freedom establish their private legal businesses. In a normal civilized society, democracy should be the light of the day. Cos a country without democracy, freedom is bound to be withheld and not uphold. I think we live in a peaceful society this era cos of democracy!
