Death is a bad unforseen occurrence , and when it happens it brings grief , sorrow , pain , and agony towards the deceased family and also to well-meaning friends and colleagues of the deceased . no one is above death and in fact this is considered as one characteristics of a living thing . Business organisations sometimes encounter unforeseen occurrences like death and probably on their employees managers and employer , but the big question worth asking is how should I react when this happens ? In other words what should be the behaviour or respond of an organisation when an employee dies ? it is sad to say many organisations today do not take the death of their employee serious they act as if the employees time spent working for them was valueless and worthless and so they carry on with their various activities of the day as if nothing has happened .

First of all this action is cruel , rude , and unappreciated . Employees are part of a business organisation and they deserve the organization's love , respect , and gratitude both when alive or dead . A positive action organisations can take is to write a letter to the deceased employee,'s family pointing out how sorrowful and unhappy they are hearing the incident , they must also remunerate the deceased employees family the life insurance of the employee so that the family can have something to stand back on , especially if the deceased employee was the head of a family . And if the job has a next of kin takeover feature , the employees next of kin should resume as a worker in the company or business organisation .

The lost of an employee can be very emotion not only to the fsmily of the deceased but to friends and colleagues who at one time or the other had gotten the opportunity to work with the deceased person. Now to the organization it could be a very huge loss mostly when the deceased staff happens to be very active and plays a very vital role in the organization. Although I know some people will say that there is no one that is not replaceable, but I stand to be coreected that their are some people you will hardly replace so easily. Mostly when it comes to a business organization. I have seen situations where parents decides to withdraw their wards from a particular school all because the school decides to fire a teacher that their wards are very used to. So the same also applies to a business organization, there are some people that can not be easily replaced. The company or business organization is suppose to give such a staff a very good befitting burial ceremony, and make sure all entitlement are been paid without delay to the family and they are suppose to show much support both in kind and financially.

It's painful to lose a staff to death, because that employee not be seen again, and the family of the employee will also be in pains. All the other employees will be very emotional as they continue to work. Of a tuth it will definitely affect the psychological atmosphere of the workers in the work environment. So it will be on the management to look for possible ways of giving the departed employee the best care and support they can give to the family of the departed employee, then they must also show support to on the day of the funeral ceremony.

There are organisation that helps the Children of such kind of employees with scholarship funding to any level they want to attain in life so that the children of such person's will not have to suffer hardships. Then theure are some organisation that even assures the children of such persons a space in that company when they have come of age and they have completed their education in the tertiary institution. But not all company has such policies as some will.show less concern and will only pay off any entitlement that is left. Some do not even pay anything.

Death is inevitable. People die and when this happens, we don't have anything than to just respond to the person by giving out our condolences to the family of the bereaved. The family and the immediate family of the person should be paid visitation to for them to feel secured.

Then there is need for the company to take care of the family of the deceased. If the death is as a result of the accident at work, the treatment may be higher than the ones that happens outside the workplace. And as well, if the death is through sickness which may be as a result of the workload from the organisation, the company will be responsible for the hospital bills.

The place of the person in the work place will determine how long that the employer will employ another person in his replacement. If he holds a very vital role. There is no need to be wasting time before there will be replacement. This is because if this is not done, there may be loss of two situations, the person that dies and the loss that the company may be recording as a result of the loss of the person.

Everyone of us should accept the reality that one day we all are going to die because that is totally inevitable or could be removed out of existence . And because of this everyone on earth is prone to die one day same is also applied in some business organisations where they exist an employer and an employee and in most cases and employee could die and this will be a very difficult and unbelievable situation for the business organisation especially if the employee that died was known to be diligent , hard-working , and industrious and have been benefiting the company ever since he or she was employed .

Since every individual today is prone to die one day we shouldn't focus on how to eradicate death but how to react when that happen and so in a business organisation a business organisation must understand how they should react when a employee dies . For one reason , they must endeavour to send their condolence to the bereaved family and if possible they could pay the family the amount of salary or insurance which have not been compensated to the deceased employee as at the time he or she dies .
