Color Scheme is very important on your website. You need to be careful about the color you use in the background, color you use for the fonts, the color you use for the banner, menu, header, or heading and sub headings, and text.

You should choose colors that matches with your niche, logo, cover image/banner, or header, as well as background. Do not use too many colors to make it look like a rainbow, use 2-3 colors maximum, and do not use contrast colors. You also need to choose a nice font. When I say a nice font what I mean is it is simple as well as attractive at the same time. Do not use fancy fonts. A neat font is like an icing on the cake. Always keep in mind that the font you are using goes well with your subject and the kind of background you have used on your website.

You need to use white background with black text for blog or forum as this will make reading easy. For business website or company website, you can use other colors in text but make sure it is readable.

The color you use on your website should match with your theme or template.

The design or the color is the most essential part to attack the visitor, generally, basic themes don't be the ideal solution in the case of a professional website.

The color you are using on your site should be neutral and not blend into the background, instead be clear so that visitors know where they have come. The link when clicked should change the color, you need to match the theme color with the background color. It is better to have black text in the whte background for easy reading.

One of the important factors to consider while using color scheme on your website is you need to use warm color. Warm colors appeals to most of the people. It is better to use pink instead of dark red, it is better to use light blue instead of purple. Before you chose the color scheme for your website, you need to understand the psychology of colors and how it affects humans.
