in any business customers are the king's. You can put every other things in place but if you do not have the customer to patronize you then you are not serious about your business so your number three point is apt. You need to try to know your customers. Look at what they want , their complaints and feedback. if they are complaining about your customer care or delivery Then you have to work on it. You can only turn your business into a conglomerate if you have Ed a huge amount of customers if not you might just be losing in the game. So it is important thay one's treat all customers with care and make them feel warm.

Secondly, you would need to advertise your business as much as you can. people wouldn't forget your business when you always out it Infront or before them so endeavor to advertise your business.

You seem to have excluded the most important thing, i.e. marketing. The only way to grow your business is by marketing your business. If you market well, you can sell almost anything. An American marketer once sold stones from a Mexican beach to US customers as pet rocks. With interesting marketing strategy, he was able to sell stones for good price and became a millionaire.

what stones, stones, am really surprised by this, as a pet rock, really it's really funny, who would buy a rock just because some dude probably shared some stories about something with the rock and everyone now wanted their own pet rock, I definitely would, Well the marketer was lucky, with everything going on this days i don't think anyone would buy a pet rock even if their live depended on it, lol am just saying, but it's incredible I will definitely read up on it and see what he did and how he managed to make millions with stones

You have hit the nail on the head. Some peole don't know that there is nobody that can actually make it all alone. You need a team. Not just a team, the ones that believe in your vision and can help you achieving them. That's why you need to invest in those people as well for them to bring out the best in them. Give them all what they might reeiure for them to be eager to work for you. And must like you said, we need to know our customers. Know what they want and how they want it. Consider their opinions but never try to satisfy them or out their visions above your visions except in some exceptional cases.
