When the office is complete with the needs of the employees then that is giving comfort and convenience to them. And when the workplace is like that then the employees will be more efficient. For the HR officers that is their take on the workplace. If there is a pantry then provide free coffee so that employees can take a coffee break without spending and without going out of the office.
In one of our trips to Hongkong we met with my nephew who works in Bloomberg. He was carrying a packet of chips when he left his office. That’s when I learned that their office provides not only free coffee but also snack foods. And it’s not only Bloomberg but also Google offices are equipped not only with free food but there’s also a resting place where employees can take a nap. Oh gee, I would love to work there.
