If you are a seller, you need to understand the buyers. You need to understand ins and outs of different kind of buyers to have a successful sale.

Buyers are basically categorized into 5 kinds

Investors: People who buy products as an investment

Savers: People who want to save a lot of money while buying

Big Spenders: People who buy a lot of things

Debtors: People who are very careful about buying, they don’t spend much

Shoppers: Those who buy just anything

How to convince your buyers?

Once you understand different types of buyers, you will have to convince them to buy accordingly. For investors, you need to convince them that the product will last long and will them a lot of benefits. If your buyer is a saver, you need to convince them that the product you are offering has the best price in the market.

Maybe there is a fault line in this categorization as I do not see any difference between big spenders and shoppers. People might have different reasons to spend big, but ultimately they are shoppers, who enjoy shopping. However, I agree with other things like investors, savers, etc. I also agree that if you know the buyer type, you can generate sales more effectively.
