With a home based business that is small scale and cannot be considered an offline business the biggest problem is in finding customers. The market base is the community or even the residents of the town. What I see in the street here are the posters about the home based businesses like the native snack foods that you can order or the special noodles also for delivery. I think it is not really difficult to find customers for a home based business especially if you are selling a consumer product much more if it is cooked food that is ready to eat when delivered.

A home based business is usually meant to serve the needs of the locality, but a serious minded person with entrepreneur mindset will also think of how to increase his or her customer based thereby increasing sales as well as profit.

This can be achieved through marketing, in this era of smartphones where everyone is on one social media platform or the other advertising the business with the option of delivery within and outside the locality will definitely help the business to grow and expand.
