Occasionally, we receive promotional messages from companies. Do you remember the last time you received promotional messages from providers in the form of newsletters that you never subscribed to? In theory, this should never happen, as any company sending emails or newsletters needs to first obtain the recipient's consent.

For greater security, the subscription takes place in a two-stage application procedure, in which the recipient expresses and allows the receipt of promotional messages and other data. The double opt-in process is a standard of commercial communication by email. The double opt-in is a marketing method of Email marketing, more specifically, of sending newsletters.
