The effect of herdsmen attack on cow business these days is very rapid in Nigeria at this is making people scared of investing in cow business in Nigeria due to the previous attacks and consistent attacks on call business owner. Sometimes most people, they take away their cattles and ruttle them which is very very bad. However the government and trying their best in terms of security to stop the ruttle of cattles in the States.

The rate at which this set of people that called their selves herdsmen kill and destroy properties is alarming and has affected farming as a whole in regions that suffers the wrath of the people. Before now, their animals eats from products of farmer that are meant to generate incomes and by so doing, they end up rendering those products useless.

The herdsmen attack has really done a lot of bad things to their own image and those who do the image of Nigeria in general. People don't see anyone rearing cow as a potential terrorist. The Nigerian government has not helped matters at all at curtailing this nefarious attacks carried out by these rampaging herdsmen.

The long term effects of the barbaric and inhuman act of those wicked and criminal herders is scarcity of food, because if farmers can't go to there farm to cultivate or plant and harvest food, where do you want us to see food, and if we really on importation of food, it will affect the value of our currency badly.

The way and rate the herdmen are operating in this nation and country of ours Nigeria is quit alarming and it is nothing to write home about, because they kept on doing what they like and it is like no body or person has the power and guts to put them in order and stop all their illegal and absurd activities. They even dare a lot of farmers by entering their farmland with their cattle and eat all the farm produce the farmers had planted and labored so much on in terms of cultivating, weeding, spraying of chemicals, manuring and so on.

Deteriorating environmental conditions, desertification and soil degradation have led Fulani herdsmen from Northern Nigeria to change their routes to down South. Access to pastureland and watering points in the Middle Belt became essential for herdsmen travelling from the North of the country. This has caused a lot of conflicts because farmers have their farms destroyed. The effect is that many people are quitting the business which could lead to high cost of cow and beef.

The Herdsmen crisis has really affected cow business in Nigeria and beef is becoming scarce little by little. It hasn't also affected the cow business, it has affected other businesses like the tomatoes business, the onions business, the pepper business and so on. Most of Nigeria's food items comes from the north and the Herdsmen crisis is most prevalent in the North so this has negatively affected things in both Northern and Southern Nigeria. The Nigerian government needs to take control of the situation.

This topic reminds me of the time that I had plans of having a ranch. I talked to the owner of the land. Fortunately the owner was kind to advise me against a ranch business. During that time the area was infested with rebels and skirmishes with the military was frequent. That was also the reason why land in that rural town was very cheap.

The herdsmen are just nightmares to our everyday life in Nigeria. They damage crops and even human rights, just terrorist group whose intentions of operations is still unknown up till this day. And our government isn't doing much to curtail or limit the activities of this herdsmen to halting the activities of farmers in the country and also human lives. Things are just getting out of hand with the consistent terracing of their malicious attacks.
