It is absolutely a big difference for an individual to own a business and also to manage a business and in most situations the owner of a business may not necessarily be the manager of the business and vice versa . It could be absolutely easy for an individual to own and establish a business and that is made possible as long as he or she has the requisite capital and the sufficient financial funds to do so but on the other hand managing a business totally requests more physical involvement , more mental capacitation , more creative during formulation , and more brain power . If you intend to establish a business it is totally important to focus more on the actual management of the business and also check your capability and the ability to manage and control the business you intend to establish even if you have the requisite and sufficient capital to bring the business into existence .

Majority of businesses today have shut down and even gone bankrupt or liquidated as a result of poor management even if the business was absolutely established in large-scale and on the right foundation but yet management , operation , and controlling , whatever way you used to describe it is totally more paramount today existence and to the growth of a business . To gain requisite knowledge about how to manage a business you would need the help and training of another .

A person who owns a business is the person that establishes and created the business right from the grassroots, but a person that manages a business is someone who controls the day-to-day running of the business, and more work is required from a person who manages a business because he have to be watchful and observe all the activities that is made in an organisation or a firm. He should be the one that employs new workers into the organisation and also sack workers that are not deserving to work in the organisation or firm.
A person who owns a business can give his or her business to someone else to manage and control their activities that will be done in such a business. He or she might even come to the work seldomly he doesn't need to do any hard work but few tax required maybe it can be signing of documents and important files. And sometimes he might only come only when general meetings are being held in the company.

There is so much a difference between managing a business and actually owning a business but most importantly he recently advised that we focus on the management of other businesses rather than the establishment of business . We need to establish a business in order to manage it but yet managing a business is what totally determines a business successful is and a business prosperity . For your business to prosper you need to manage it in the best possible way and that include being able to track your business earnings and your business profit in order to determine whether your business is running on a profit or running on a loss .

If you have to take extra time to acquire business skills before establishing your business so as to become a good business manager it is totally advised because you do not want to waste your precious capital establishing a business you cannot be able to manage or you cannot be able to facilitate and operate .

Yes, managing a business is different from owning a business.

Managing a business means handling all of the day-to-day operations and responsibilities, like purchasing inventory, setting prices for products and services, attracting new customers, and growing the company's profitability. Owning a business means owning all or a majority share of the company's stock. An owner oversees its financials like an investor would rather than as a hands-on manager. He or she takes most of the monetary risks, but may also get most of the rewards.

If you are self-employed, you can operate as both manager and owner. You decide which role to assume during a particular time period. For example, if you own a company but want to temporarily move out of the country for several months, you could act as an owner so that the company is still run by someone else. If you are unsure about what role is best for running your business, speak with an experienced attorney about how owning the business affects your tax obligations.

Owning a business can be fraught with many legal issues that an outside party cannot help with. For example, bankruptcy laws may affect individuals differently than they do businesses.
