Smoking has no health benefits. It only worsens the health of an individual. Smoking causes lung and liver damage in time after a continuous process. The government knows it is bad but they keep producing cigarettes and other drugs that are abused. Yet, with a strong caption that they are liable to die young.

Thanks for starting this great topic @Empress this thread should be an eye opener to smokers out there. it is really heart wrenching how smoking has becomes a norms in our society nowadays, most especially amongs young ones. There is no medicinal benefits nor nutritional that is derived from smoking but a life threatening diseases or a damaged organs.so it is advised to stay off smoking.

one of the dangers smoking especially cigarettes caused to human health is lung cancer, this a kind of cancer that is caused as a result of smoking, Thus, any rightful thinking person should abstrain from smoking be it cigarettes, cannabis or vapor. and those that are already doing it should please put an end to it.

The only benefit smoking can give human is just short term enjoyment and that short period enjoyment can leads to long time damages to the human health, expecially human vital organs such as lungs, kidneys among others. Even those company manufacturing it says smokers are liable to die young. Generally smoking does not give human body any benefits to the body, and most of the vital organs can get damaged because of the smoking so it is advised for those smoking to abstrain from it.

Smoking increases your risk of developing more than 50 serious health conditions. Smokers are at greater risk for diseases that affect the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease).
Breathing in secondhand smoke, also known as passive smoking, increases your risk of getting the same health conditions as smokers, because smoke comes from the tip of a lit cigarette and the smoke that the smoker breathes out.

While smoking can increase your risk of a variety of problems over several years, some of the bodily effects are immediate.

One of the ingredients in tobacco is a mood-altering drug called nicotine. Nicotine reaches your brain in mere seconds and makes you feel more energized for a while. But as that effect wears off, you feel tired and crave more.

Nicotine causes blood vessels to tighten, which restricts the flow of blood. smoking can damage your cardiovascular system, you’re also at an increased risk of worsening heart disease if you’ve already had heart bypass surgery, a heart attack, or a stent placed in a blood vessel. Hair is also affected by nicotine, a study found it increases hair loss, balding, and graying.
Smoking affects the blood vessels, which deliver oxygen and nutrients to the entire body. When the skin is deprived of these essential nutrients, changes begin to develop, even at an early age. Smokers can appear pale or have uneven skin tone as a result of their nicotine habit.

Smoking is just not suitable for human health, the dangers described around it, us just much indeed. Still those who are indebted to smoking aren't paying attention to all dangers described around smoking. Smoking of Indian hen, marijuana, cocaine metabolic, cigarettes etc, have led lots of people into mental issues yet, they aren't interested to stop especially those addicted drug abuse victims. I love my well-being, that's the reason why I don't enjoy smoking, even if I've tasted it before, it wasn't going well with my health, that was the reason I deviated from taking any sort of smoking at the moment.

Not just about smoking that causes cardiovascular issues, lung cancer etc, alcohol abuse can also lead to this sort of illnesses. But the main focus is on smoking, it's health implications in the future. Those who are into it might not feel the negative at the time of starting, but the future resultant is dangerous to their well-being.

Smoking is one of the quickest ways to damage your lungs and your health in general. When you inhale cigarette smoke, you're breathing in thousands of chemicals, many of which affect the way your lungs function.

One of the most harmful chemicals in cigarettes is nicotine. It's what makes cigarettes addictive, but it also causes damage to your heart and blood vessels.

The carbon monoxide contained in cigarettes prevents oxygen from reaching your organs, which can lead to heart disease and other problems.

Other chemicals found in cigarettes cause cancer, chronic bronchitis, emphysema (a lung disease), and many other serious conditions. Cigarette smoke has been linked to almost every type of cancer, including cancers of the mouth, throat, larynx (voice box), esophagus (swallowing tube), stomach, pancreas, colon/rectum, liver, breast, cervix, ovaries/uterus lining, bladder, kidneys/ureters/urinary tract lining, and bone marrow (leukemia).

Smoking ultimately leads to death on the long run. Sometimes I wonder what these persons who carry out these practices benefit from smoking. Smoking could also cause cancer, heart diseases, lungs diseases as well. There is also the case of addiction for does who smoke, people tend to get addicted to smoking, even without realizing it.

Smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States. Cigarettes contain harmful and toxic chemicals that can harm nearly every organ system in your body, including your skin and blood vessels. RoyalVibe Health is a premier health and wellness center dedicated to improving quality of life through holistic wellness treatments. Smoking is a prevalent risk factor for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This study sought to determine the association between smoking and the prevalence of COPD and its severity of symptoms. A cross-sectional survey was conducted on subjects aged 40 years or older who visited physicians for health examinations from Jan. 2003 to Dec. 2007 in Seoul, Korea. Of 8,301 respondents, those who smoked were more likely to have COPD with dyspnea (OR 3.19), cough (OR 2.90), chest tightness (OR 2.60), sputum production (OR 2.74), or exercise intolerance than never-smokers or non-smokers by adjusted logistic regression analysis; this association was found among all age groups except nonsmoking women aged 40–49 years old. In conclusion, our findings suggest that smoking is positively associated with COPD even after adjusting for other risk factors such as age, gender, and comorbidities.

Cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung disease, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including emphysema and chronic bronchitis, are all caused by smoking. Smoking also raises the chance of tuberculosis, some eye diseases, and immune system problems, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
