1: Register the domain -
Step 2: Contract the hosting -
Step 3: Redirect DNS -
Step 4: Install WordPress -
Step 5: Install the SSL certificate
Step 6: Configure WordPress and customize the blog -
Step 7: Install plugins
Step 8: follow the steps that are indicated in the multiple explanatory videos to be able to achieve it

Hoping to start a blog anytime soon, I am however using a different platform apart from WordPress... what do you think?

Thank you for sharing the procedure of creating a blog. I know of so many who are now using different medium of blogging or maybe I should say blog hosting. My blogs are in Blogger dot com and some others have their blogs made in Wordpress which, they say, is more convenient. But I believe that having your own website for your blog is the best since you can choose the ads that you want.
