Buying a home with a pool can be a great investment, but there are some cons to consider before you decide.
It can help you to sell your home for more money, it can be the focal point of your home and if you have children, a pool is a great place to entertain them.
Although you may love the idea of having a pool, look at the down sides before making any decisions. Here are five of the most common problems that may arise when buying a home with a pool:

1. You will have to pay for water and electricity costs

2. You will have to replace your roof if it leaks or cracks

3. You may need to replace or repair your patio or decking

4. The pool may need maintenance from time to time

5. It's not just about how big your pool is - it's how much it costs.

Buying a home witha swimming pool inside is good if you like it and you can also afford to deal with the expenses because it depends on taste of individual , some people like building a house with a swimming pool while some detest the idea of having a pool because of the disadvantages and the threat it might poise to their immediate family.
First you need to think about the expenses you have to face when you have a pool , , water expenses is there and also you need to take care of the electricity expenses which might be high depending on the level of electricity you are using .
The replacement of leaking roof and also the cost of maintaining the water , together with the cleaning of the summing pool is also very important thing to consider when thinking about buying a house that has a swimming pool .

This is more like taking consideration everything that comes with having a swimming pool before getting one. The thing is that having a swimming pool in the home is a good idea but look at the downsides and see how you can get them fixed before starting the construction.

Like for me if they are little children in the home, it will be a high risk to have a swimming pool without floaters, having a kind of barricade where it will be difficult for the children to get in without assistance. This is to be sure that the children don't get drown in the water.

Again other things to be considered should include
the cost for the water and electricity, costs of replacing your roof if it leaks or cracks, costs of replacing or repairing the patio or decking, the costs of maintenance from time to time and general how much it costs to have your swimming in a good condition always.
