Entrepreneurship has become a very good thing in the current world, especially since it is so hard to get employed nowadays. So many people are becoming entrepreneurs and benefitting alot from it. However, some people fail in entrepreneurship and that could be because they lack some basic characteristics that every entrepreneur should have which include;

1. Ability to identify and take opportunities.

An entrepreneur should be someone who can clearly observe his/her environment and I dentify opportunities available. He/she should look at what people want and get into action by satisfying those wants through business.

2. Risk taking.

An entrepreneur should be a risk taker. He/she should not wait till the "right time" to start business. And should not let any fear prevent them.

3. Good planning.

Every business startup requires good planning and an entrepreneur should be someone who can develop a good business plan.

Other characteristics include self discipline, commitent and good financial management. You can name some more.

Like you said lastly fail planing,if you don't plan well before going into any business the outcome of the business is always bad ....so before you go into any business please do proper planning ...

Yea, proper planning is very important. A lot of young entrepreneurs have become frustrated as a result of poor planning because that determines how far a business can go.

For me the two features will be identifying opportunities and managing risks. These are like the two keys to managing a business effectively. Opportunities in a business don't need to be joked with because this is where the money roll in from and the growth comes from.same with taking risk which must be a calculative one. No need putting the business in a risk that wouldn't yield any profit. So a manager needs to realize all of these and work towards having these two things sorted out

An entrepreneur is some who should be creative and innovative meaning he or she should always come up with new ideas or products. Also should always be able to come up with new ideas on how to improve the quality of his or her goods and services. An entrepreneur should be flexible and always a risk taker that doesn't fear to invest in new ideas provided the ideas has a big percentage of making profits compared to risks. Also should be time conscious and good in decision making more so in terms of finances and management of the whole business. An entrepreneur is always determined to succeed in every business he or she invest in, always keen on what he or she starts. Always driven with the spirit of being his or her own boss.

An entrepreneur must possess a lot of qualities but fundamentally he must be decisive firmly in his decision and must be highly creative for every business depend on it for survival. I was twice an entrepreneur in my younger days. What I lacked was the charisma to attract people. It is not just the customers but other people that are important in the business like the suppliers and the logistics that handle the delivery. In a big business there are other people involved especially when the company has an affiliation with other companies. In other words when you start up a business you should be sociable and approachable to make people feel that you are okay with them.
