Bitcoin is the leader of the crypto market. It has the market cap which controls more than 35% of the total market capital of cryptocurrencies. Since Bitcoin is so popular, it has become more like a brand than anything else. Ethereum in other hand, is a second most traded crypto coin which has market share of around 10%. Price of Bitcoin at present is around 32800 where as that is of Etherum is 1900.

In a recent interview, Charless Hoshkinson , the founder of Cardano, has claimed that he ethereum will outperform Bitcoin in near future. he supports flexibility of ethereum and ethereum blockchain which is superior to traditional Bitcoin.

In my opinion, there are some chances that the ethereum May outperform Bitcoin, but to expect it to grow more than the value of Bitcoin does not look possible. The growth of ethereum may accelerate when ERC 2.0 will be launched. But it is very unlikely to get pass Bitcoin. What do you guys think about this?

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two most popular cryptocurrencies today. But while they share the same fundamental purpose, they are very different in terms of their design and development. Bitcoin was created to be a cryptocurrency that is used as money, a way to transfer value between parties in a decentralized and secure manner. This is accomplished by using Bitcoin as a digital form of cash, where users can send or receive it as payment for goods or services.

Ethereum is a platform that allows developers to build applications on top of its blockchain technology. As such, it is more of an ecosystem than just a currency. The Ethereum network has many different uses and applications from smart contracts to decentralized storage systems. While both of these cryptocurrencies have their own strengths and weaknesses, it's hard to say which one will come out ahead in the long run since each has its own unique set of features that make them valuable assets for investors looking for diversification within their portfolio. For example, Bitcoin has been around longer than Ethereum; therefore it may have more brand recognition among consumers than its newer counterpart does right now but only time will tell.

The future is looking bright for both these currencies as they continue growing at an exponential rate year after year while being traded on various exchanges worldwide.
