We various types of knowledge but in relation to our discuss in business we have four types of knowledge. Namely:
book knowledge - reading what people wrote down;
market knowledge - learning the competitive market inside;
business knowledge -how to design enterprise and execute;

Even if at the beginning the business owner didn't have any knowledge of the business at the business progresses he/she would have to learn from the business thereby gaining knowledge for subsequent business. Starting a business without any prior knowledge of the business would only lead to one making mistakes in order to learn from the mistake and if one is unfortunate those mistakes might be costly. If advisable for one to have prior knowledge of the business they want to get into.
