Celery calms the liver and improves digestion, purifies the blood, reduces mind conditions such as giddiness and nervousness, and promotes sweating. It is also used for inflammation of the eyes, burning with urination, blood in the urine, acne, mouth sores.

To control your appetite, you can eat celery between and during meals. It combines well with fruits and a little lemon juice is a good remedy for the common cold when the fever is more prominent than the chills.

It is also a good combination for headaches caused by high blood pressure or heart conditions such as red face, hot head, red tongue or irritability. The juice alone or combined with lemon is good for diabetes with two cups of juice daily.
