Print-On-Demand or Dropshipping Businesses both do not require you to manufacture or acquire products to sell. You don’t even have to fulfill the order. You will be selling someone’s product through your online store. When you are doing dropshipping, you will have to pay your supplier the base price of the product. When you are doing Print-On-Demand, you will also have to pay the base price to your print provider. The base price is your cost price. When you add markup cost to your base price that will be your selling price. The profit you make is the difference between the base price and the selling price.

How much markup cost should you add to your base price?

If you are new do not add more than 10 percent. If you add a higher markup cost, your product selling price will increase, thus hampering your sales. However, if you are an established seller, adding a 25-30 percent markup cost will be fine.
