To various people, marketing means different things.
In everyday language, marketing refers to the act of selling something in a market.
It means selling to a salesperson and advertising to an advertising manager.
To some, marketing entails the investigation of particular commodities and their movement in the market, while to others, it entails the investigation of institutions and individuals who move their products or the investigation of economic contributions.
