Affiliate marketing is a low cost marketing method for businesses. They hire marketers (referred to as affiliate marketers) to promote their products and services. Businesses pay these marketers only for the conversion (only when sales occur), they do not pay just for marketing or sending visitors to their stores. Businesses do affiliate marketing in two ways, one they create their own affiliate program, and two, they use some affiliate networks to promote their products. Amazon’s affiliate program (called Amazon Associate) is a very popular affiliate program. Likewise, CJ, Rakuten, Clickbank, ShareAsale, etc. are some of the most popular affiliate networks.
