I agree that the tips mentioned here are really great and helpful. I wish I found them when I was writing my marketing specialist resume. I should say, this work turned out to be more complicated than I expected.
Speaking about resume creators, from my own experience, I can say that those I tried were useful. I checked MyPerfectResume and ResumeLab, and both provided me with good templates. Though I still changed my resume to make it more unique.

Your point about including volunteer work is excellent. In many industries, soft skills gained from volunteer experiences can be just as valuable as hard skills acquired through formal employment.

Your tips are spot-on and provide a comprehensive guide for anyone struggling to draft an effective resume. I especially appreciate the advice about targeting the resume to the specific job. Tailoring your resume can make a significant difference in landing that interview.
One thing that you didn't mention, which can be a cherry on top for many employers, is including a good Letter of Recommendation. While a resume speaks about your qualifications, a Letter of Recommendation adds that extra layer of credibility by letting employers hear from someone else about your skills and qualities.
