People are always prone to copying others in different ways. So copying others business ideas isn't an exception. Someone is progressing with a cleaning business and before you know a lot of people are going into the same business and at the end of the day the original person is still thriving while the copiers have long left the business because they could not cope.

So why shouldn't you copy other business ideas

1.High struggling rate with the idea; With a business idea you just copied without knowing the nitty gritty of the business you would struggle so much to pull through. What others are doing effortlessly you sweat so much to achieve

2. Employing high rate of resources: Since you don't know the basic of the business demands, you might be throwing in a lot of money especially during the starting which you might find out later you didn't need some of the things you bought for the business

3. Decision making will be slow: You would be second guessing yourself if you are getting things right so taking the right decision per time will be very slow

4. Collapse of the business: A copied business idea without the experience to go with will collapse before you know. So don't just copy a business idea, check if you can run it

People try to copy from others because they might see it that the profits made by the person is too high without minding the experience, technique the person has in this business that can make the person lacking all this things to go into it and fail, so it not unique to do business that you dont have experience on.

That's the main reason a lot of businesses fail copying people without knowing how to go about the business to make it stand the test of time. I think humans are just good with copy and paste so even in serious situation they don't mind doing the same copying and pasting and they end up hurting themselves.

Business ideas pick up is good but you need to look critically at the ones you want to pick up and be sure you can go about it in a way that you would thrive with it. it isn't about seeing other people just have customers line up for the products of the business, do you know the build of the product and how useful it is to the buyers.

I see a lot of businesses collapse before it even take off, this is because there was no serious research and the foundation wasn't solid. Until you are able to get the foundation of a business right you can't thrive with it. So the best bet is to be unique with your ideas that you conceive for your business.

Start out with baby steps and see how it goes, if you are okay with it then you can push it further.

I agree that copying someone else's business idea is not a great thing to do. If a business idea inspires you, though, and you find a way to improve upon it and make it your own, that's a different story - researching the market and using that information to get ideas and improve your business can be useful.

It is obvious that plagiating is bad idea and one of the main reasons is that you should promote your competitors rather than yourself. You'll be connected with the competitor if you completely duplicate their design. Customers will remember the competitor's corporate style and buy their goods rather than yours, even if you update the logo and supply them with your contact information. Even if you mimic the design of a no-name company, people may confuse you and choose another company the next time they compare many offers.

You have brought another angle to this which I know really hurt some new businesses and might it fail as soon as it gets started. When you copy another business idea you would be a second best with your products, this is the fact. Like you rightly pointed out one might just be promoting the original business without even knowing.

It even become worse if you produce a bad version of the original products you would be pushing more people to buy the other one because they might be thi king yours is fake since it doesn't look as standard as the previously produced ones.

it will look more like you are competing with the original product which doesn't show uniqueness. This is the problem with copying, you would always look like the duplicate of the original idea so instead of struggling so hard with your business to be seen it will be better to bring out your own product and serve people with something very different. You would just get a better business longevity than crawling at a snail pace with others business ideas.

The importance of starting your business with your unique ideas can't be overemphasized. it comes with quick growth of a business than otherwise.

When it comes to business, copying others ideas is one of the worst things you could do. Here are some reasons why: You will only be successful if you have a unique idea that can't be copied by anyone else. If your business model is based on someone else's idea, it will either fail or become extremely difficult to compete with other companies who are already established in the market.

Copying others ideas means that you're not coming up with your own ideas, which makes it hard for people to trust and believe in you as an entrepreneur. It's very difficult to come up with an idea that's both innovative and profitable at the same time. If your business idea isn't original enough, then there isn't much chance that it will succeed in ideas, ong run.

Copying someone else's idea might seem like a good idea at first, after all, if it works for them, why shouldn't it work for me? Unfortunately, this strategy has its drawbacks because when people see something familiar (like a similar product or service), they tend to react negatively, especially if they feel like someone else has stolen their own ideas, and it won't stop there.

Yeah this is why it is good to start your business with your own business ideas to give your own buyers some unique things that would keep them coming back. Even if you are looking at doing something similar then infused your own style and ideas too to make it different.

one thing I noticed about businesses is that being a copied will make your business go slow unless you would be ready to make your business stay that way if you copy a beverage product, the question should be why would a buyer of a previous ones want to leave them and buy my own ? here lies the answers to the quest.

Another problem with copying is the high level of competition. This even become worse if you are competing with an established business that must have grab the market for a very long time so getting customers for your own products will be a high level struggle because you need to convince people to buy. So I always advocate one looking out for what people wants that are not there and start making the product, selling products like this will be a lot easy as you don't have other companies to contend with.

Even with this , a lot of people will always copied other people. To me copying of other people is not really the most important thing but the most important thing here is how you can copied this people and succeed in the business you are going to do . I have seen a lot of people who will only copy other people blindly without making attempt to research about the business to know what is needed of the business , but they just carryout business plan and preparation based on what they have seen other people. This is one of the reason why it is dangerous to copy other people in business because when you just copy without making an attempt to carry out proper research about the business , you are likely to experience business failure .

Everybody are naturally talented in one way or the other, some people could have the talents to start up a particular business and in most cases copying these people in thier business also might be more dangerous if this is not your real area of talent and concentration . The person you are copying from is likely to excel more than you . This is what we must know.

Your last paragraph is the whole idea of this writeup. You need to have your own master work or. blueprint to succeed in a business. When you copy anithet business idea you would struggle a whole lot because it wasn't your initial idea so you might still depend on the source to get it right or scale through with it. This is why I believe copying other business plots might not be the best bet.

Some businesses need a whole lot of creativity and innovation. So if you do not even know the whole idea of the business by the initial person running, you might struggle in the long run. So you would just be a second best.

Another thing is that people would want to patronize more of the person that started the business because they believe the person would give them the very best unlike the copier that might not produced up to standard. So copying doesn't mean you would excel with the ones you are doing now

Just tell me one thing, what unique business idea exists today? All business ideas you can think of are already taken, there is no novel business idea that exists today. Well, if you are an innovator or an inventor you might be able to build a completely new product and start a business but most people are not leaders, they are just followers. Therefore, if you want to start a business you will have to start with the same idea that has been tested hundreds of times. The first smartphone went on sale in 1994 it was called Simon and was manufactured by IBM. iPhone was launched in 2007. iPhone itself was not a new product, it copied IBM's device. However, Apple copied the idea to become not only the world's biggest smartphone manufacturer but also the world's biggest company. Interestingly, the IBM device failed. Why did they fall despite being the first company to manufacture the smartphone? The key to succeeding in the business is continuous improvement in the product and marketing. It does not matter whether you are selling the same product that a lot of businesses are selling, what actually matters is how better is your product compared to other similar products.

Copying ab idea might be bad fir you as Decision making will be slow. You are not the originator, You would be second guessing yourself if you are getting things right. so decision taking might be very slow as you are trying to find out how such decision would work with you.

The collapse of such a business is always very high. A copied business idea without the experience to go with will collapse before one can understand it. it will be e tasking
