1.Focus on one market first- This means that you focus on one city first. Don't out a scale too first into worldwide use market place. Instead, test your marketplace using onboard not only on the supply side but also demands or that are matching them both. Then after you test it, that's when you can allow it to use worldwide.

2. Use the users feedback to rebuild- This means that you should understand the problems and understand how your market place can help your real users and don't make so much assumptions so soon. Don't be quick to add features or re- model them first. Understand first what your real users like and don't like in your marketplace and figure out how you can improve or add more useful features.

3. Do Your Market Place at your Best- Create as many useful problem solving features as possible in your marketplace because this attract even more users to want to use your site. Also try to be the best market place for your niche even if there are alot of competitors around you.

This is a very good tip and anyone who really wants to venture into this kind of business must learn from the existing ones and discover ways in which you can get a lot of users. Having an online marketplace is not something you will just start and succeed but you need to be focused and look for a problem you will solve then from there you can get to the trust of some people. It is also very reasonable to take feedback as you have stated and use it to improve.

Its always nice to focus on one market first, then when it has grown to a certain level we craved for then it is ideal to expand. It is not all that necessary jumping from one online market to another without stabilizing one, and developing it to go broad so it will be earning us money via autopilot when it is expanded with lots of employees.

Nice tips for launching one's own online marketplace. Some of the online marketplaces start with a promising idea, but in the end they all fail to generate traction and afterwards just close down. They don't understand that what they lack is, a great marketing technique, a sustainable business model, good marketing research and software choices, etc.
