6 Reasons Why We Should Leave Blogspot

At the beginning of 2010 I started to create a blog on blogspot, and I am very active because the ease of traffic obtained will give me rewards from the Adsnetwork that I place on my blog.
But at this time blogspot no longer provides easy traffic so it is very hard to get a reward, also if we create a new blog using the blogspot subdomain it will take too long to be indexed on Google, even if we surf on the search engine I almost never find the blogspot subdomain displayed on first page. is this a sign that blogspot is starting to be abandoned by many users. Although at this time I still use blogspot but only to save the concept of articles to be edited before being published in online media. Based on this personal experience I tried to find out why we should leave blogspot, and after summarizing there are 6 reasons why we should leave blogspot, are as follows:

1. Unprofessional and Considered Amateur
Many people think that the blogspot sub-domain is always seen as less professional and still an amateur class.

2. Very simple templates are less attractive.
Blogspot users can not change or create a new unique layout, can only change the color and size.

3. Can't Make Money
because of the slow traffic it will be very difficult to make money from Adsnetwork, which is posted on the blog, Also blogspot prohibits users from promoting and selling products.

4. SEO and Backlinks are not Optimal
Even though blogspot belongs to Google but Google will not give search rankings on the first page, Google is more likely to classify searches based on content domains.

5. Blogspot Mobile Application
Even though it has a rating of 4.1, there are many user complaints such as frequent crashes when uploading photos and images, slow loading, etc. so it will be difficult for travelers to use blogspot.

6, No Significant Upgrade
It seems that Google provides blogspot only for amateur levels, so there is no upgrade to a higher version and no attempt to adapt to the needs of users to the paid version.

I think I will have to disagree with everything the OP has said. It is quite understandable that if you have money to buy a domain and hosting, there is no need to use a free blogging platform like blogspot. However, if you do not have money to buy a domain and hosting, blogspot is the best platform to build a website. While it is not versatile as wordpress free blogging platform, but it is better than wordpress or any other free version of website builders because blogspot allows you to monetize your free blog with adsnese, infolinks, and Amazon native ads, and Amazon affiliate ads. Do you know you can also use a custom domain with blogspot? Blogspot is a blogging platform and blogger is a free hosting platform. You can connect your domain with blogger and use a custom domain with blogspot (you no longer have to use a blogspot subdomain)

I disagree with this post, I think blogger is just as good for blogging as WordPress the only difference is that WordPress has many customization features more than blogger, but if you can post original contents, buy a domain name and connect it to your blogspot and manage your theme very well a blogspot site can rank and do better than a WordPress site can.

Am also using blogspot not because I don't have money for hosting but because am not that techy to use WordPress I can't download all the information on how to install plugins and all that into my brain, so I just bought a domain name and am moving with blogger and the blog is progressing and even ranking on first page on Google search page.

All you need are good template for your blogspot blog, I feel sad whenever I see people saying that WordPress is better that blogger because you're discouraging upcoming bloggers which is really bad.
