There is no one answer to this question, as everyone has a different idea of what constitutes a good work-life balance. However, there are a few general principles that can help you create a balance that works for you.

One key factor is to make sure that you are taking time for yourself outside of work. This could mean spending time with friends and family, going for walks, or simply relaxing in your free time. It's important to have a break from work in order to rejuvenate and come back fresh.

Another important factor is communication. Make sure you are communicating with your boss and colleagues about your availability, and be upfront about the times when you need to focus on your personal life. This way, everyone can understand what your boundaries are and respect them.

Finally, it's important to be organized. If you have specific days or times each week when you are available for work, make sure to communicate that to your boss and coworkers. This will help them respect your time, and ensure that you're not working all the time.

For me, a good work-life balance should have just enough time for you to do your tasks and at least have time to pursue a hobby or catch up with people.

This means a few days off per week and at least, an annual leave of a month each year. You can either just travel, or use this time to get your health, mental and physical back to top notch.

Generally though, I know that people consider having a few days off as normal. The only problem is that most of us don't really know how to adequately maximize time spent outside work. We spend such time sleeping or being indoors while we could have used it to develop relationships, learn new skills or explore our hobbies.

Spending the time outside of work well will ensure that you function even better at work. You start longing for you work after sometime and you can be more productive in the days after. To do this, it's important that you don't carry work from your job into leisure hours.
