Fear of the Uncertain Future

Are you worried about losing your job? Nervous about what’s going to happen next? That’s why it’s crucial to have an emergency fund as backup — just in case.

An emergency fund is a stash of easily accessible money that equals three to six months’ worth of salary, in case you unexpectedly lose your job. And millions of us unexpectedly lost our jobs in 2020

With the Aspiration Save account (where you can funnel your tax refund), you can earn up to 20 times the average interest on your savings balance. (The FDIC reports that the average account earns just .05%.)

Lots of people work day and night just to get enough money, they are easy ways to deal with financial stress, such as;if you try and identify what needs the most attention ,you won't get your self worked up,trying to stay positive, having a good sleep will also help to deal with financial stress.

I know of one person who got sick and eventually tried suicide because of the piling up of debts. It is a depression that is not easy to overcome. Financial stress is taxing so you have to do something drastic once your finance level is going down. Stop spending. That will really help instead of continuing with your lifestyle. The frugality is just temporary anyway.

I strongly agree with you. One's expenses should be less than his/her income if one is to be free from financial stress. A lot of people usually frown at the prospect of frugality and when they are hit by debts and other relatively high expenses that urgently needs to be made the experience financial stress. So may go as far as having a heart attack . But those that have relatively high savings experiences less financial stress in the face of an emergency.
