Long term or Short term investment: which is best for new crypto currency investors?

Many people are getting to know about crypto currencies and attention seems to be majorly on Bitcoin as it is the king of all other crypto currencies, making significant increase in value since from the time of its inception.
With this development, it is always best to make sure one learns the basics of Bitcoin trading before venturing into it, as it is a very volatile thing. You can make fortune in a day and also lose everything in a split second when prices drop.

With all these, what kind of investment would you advise a new investor to settle for? Long term investment or short term investment.
Short term investment could involve them putting just a little amount of money and then waiting for a while to see how things go before deciding whether or not to invest more.

Long term investment would involve the person putting in a huge amount of money and then forgetting it for at least 6 months or even up to 2 years with the hope that it would have appreciated to a very great extent.

Which of the two options is the best?

The fact that you may have missed the chance to buy Bitcoin years ago does not mean that you cannot start a long-term investment in the crypto market. When you approach the crypto market with a long-term investor mindset, the market’s day-to-day volatility hardly affects your investment.

If you are planning to invest in the crypto sector, a long-term strategy may be more viable. However, you do not have to keep your crypto in a cold wallet and wait for its value to rise. So I strongly believe that long term investment is the best option.

When it comes to Bitcoin investment , both short term and long term investment are both profitable , it is just a matter of choice.

With regards to your question , a newbie in the world of cryptocurrency should start with long term investment ,because it is more safer than shirt term investment.

Also , short term investment requires someone with experience in the particular coin ,he wants to invest in ,because there is need for a good knowledge of the market ,before one can engage in short term investment. Secondly , short investment comes with risks ,which may be discouraging to a newbie.

I believe after engaging in long term investment for some time ,and having gotten the necessary knowledge in the said coin , he can then try short term Investment.

That is insightful, I also believe the long term investment is the best option in order to be on the safe side of trading these crypto currencies and not just Bitcoin. With the long term investment mindset, you won't be bothered about every increase or drop in price of the crypto currency you invested in. You tend to have peace of mind with the hope that your own profit making is not going to be immediate.

I am happy to have discovered this trick because when I was yet ignorant, I sold my Bitcoin at a low price due to panic, but now I am freely holding on even with the current drop in price. I do not bother myself because I know that with time, the price would go up again and I can decide to sell at the best rates.

This can be a personal decision buy for me I prefer long term investment as it involves crypto currency. I believe people that kept their coins maybe 2-3 yesrs back and are selling them now are really making good money off their investment now. So yes if one can get coins now and plan to sell it later especially with the increase going on now it will be a lot better. At the moment this is my option. To sell off later

This is also same with me. I got to know about crypto currencies at August 2020 and I was wondering how things are done. I did some research and also asked questions that gave me insights about everything and I am happy to have been able to earn some crypto currencies from working on paid to post websites Even though I did not have money to buy.

I am an advocate of long term investment too so I do not encourage any newbie to opt for short term, it could lead to you being frustrated and you may vow to never invest in crypto currencies again.
The best thing is to do personal research and get lessons from successful mentor in order not to be a serial loser.

Personally when investing in cryptocurrency I do not even consider to invest in cryptocurrency for short-term purposes because to me I believe that investing in cryptocurrency for short term is just a waste of time and resources. I'll just let my investment be for a very long time so as to make maximum profit out of it.

But yet still , there are some situations that will make me invest in a particular cryptocurrency for short-term . There was a time we were trading shitcoin then in the past and the best way for you to benefit from shitcoin is to join the moving train and when the hyping is gone it is always safer for you to sell out your shitcoins and converted to reasonable cryptocurrency like the Bnb or usdt .

I believe people should only be investing for long-term purposes if they are investing in trusted projects because that is very important.

There is a lot of money to be made in these short-term trades if you don't mind putting in the effort and don't get stressed out by the market's ups and downs. However, as a beginner, it is best to choose long-term investments given your lack of market knowledge as a beginner. However, whatever approach you go with, it's critical that you conduct your own research. Before making any trades, remember to take all investment advice with a grain of salt and to confirm any information for yourself.
