How to recover data from a corrupted/dead hard drive

The first step is to connect the hard drive to another system. If you have access to another PC then first you have to connect your crashed hard drive to that PC. Then remove it safely from the current system and connect it to the other computer. For this, you need a USBtoIDE/SATAadapter, or you can connect it internally but it is time-consuming. Once you have finished this, make sure that the system detects BIOS.
Next thing is to copy the data from the hard drive. First, check if you can browse the hard drive's data or not. After browsing the data, copy the data you want to recover and store it in the desired drive.
