It is always possible that there are plenty of discounts that you may qualify for when it comes to car insurance. However, you may not receive them for the simple reason because you have never asked for the same from your insurer. If you are such a person you need not be worried as there are plenty of people such as you nowadays. Do you know anything about auto insurance for low mileage drivers? In a new study done by Princeton Survey Research Associates International it was seen that just 16 per cent of people in the United States of America (USA) had asked their insurers if they are eligible for any discount or not.

This means that all around the country people have just left millions of dollars that they could have saved on their insurance on the table, just like that. It is unlikely that you would receive a lot of discounts from your insurer if you never asked. You should always look for car insurance for low mileage cars if you do not drive your car that much in the first place. However, there are a few discounts that you would get even if you did not ask.

You would get discounts if you availed a number of policies from the same insurer. If you have always been a loyal customer you would get rewarded for that as well. At the same time if you have not had any accident for a lengthy period of time your insurer would benefit you too. However, in case of some other kinds of car insurance discounts you would have to ask your insurer. You can always get cheap car insurance for low mileage. It also needs to be noted in this context that all insurers may not provide these discounts.

You can get discount on your car insurance with zero down in case you do not commute with it or use it sparingly for such purposes. You could also get discount for advance payment of your renewal bill. If you have a bachelor’s degree or more you could be in line for a discount as well.

I think before insurance gives the driver discount ,they would first check the driver rating and many other factors inclusive ,to know the amount of discount that would be charged on the premium the driver is going to pay and if it's not worth it ,he might not get the premium

This is mostly common in the advanced countries. They do charge the premium on auto insurance on some factors which include the mileage of the vehicle. But in some African countries, this is not really a factor as there may be some car that will have low milage and the driver will still be using it in hung mileage
