I've recently been looking into different work from home jobs to help supplement my income. I've found a few companies offering work transcribing audio and video files into a word document - such as Babbletype and Rev.
After applying to a few and being approved, I have realized that it is actually VERY time-consuming. You get paid per audio minute, so you need to be a very fast typer to be able to earn a decent income. But the frustrating part is when the speaker mumbles and you have to keep going back and re-listening to what they say.
I definitely don't think it is the type of job for me!
Do any of you do transcription work? Do you enjoy it?
