When it comes to my family's monthly household budget I and my wife would create a list of everything we need, all the expenses and bills and would try to fit in whatever we can to our budget. We always allot a fixed amount at the end of each month and on the 15th of each month to serve as our household budget for the next 15 days. Big or Small we need to make do of what's allotted.
