Relating with coworkers

No man is an island and as such we need people around us to help us,learn from them and also seek for advice. We can meet these people any where and of course our place of work is not left out.

To have pleasant people around us then we should have pleasant character and disposition. We can't receive what we do not give so relating well with coworkers is Paramount and this can help us have healthy working environment and great coworkers too.

To relate well with others workers entail being friendly, jovial,helpful,mentoring, having team work spirit,avoid witch- hunting and slandering the next person.

How can one relate well with coworkers?

In the corporate world more so in big companies, there are no permanent friends only temporary allies and competitors, one hint of weakness and you would see your friends becoming wolves, it's a dog eat dog world when it comes to corporations.

​​​​​​You're generally safe if you're just a rank and file employee but if you're in middle or top management it's like battlefield where a single wrong decision can lead to your demotion or worst your termination.

In any organization dealing with people is always critical and somehow a skill. Different people has different ways of interpreting things and different reaction on handling engagements, discussions and activity.

This includes any working environment, the best thing you can do is to be honest and fair to people around you. Being your self will allow people to understand you better and eventually get to know your personality through out your career.
