What To do when Ebay listing is not available ?

There are various reasons eBay may remove a listing from the site, and eBay will always send the buyer a letter (be sure to check your eBay Messages).

In some cases where the seller's account has been suspended, they might have still shipped the item. Because of this possibility, you might have to wait until the day after the expected delivery date before opening an item not received request in the Resolution Center. In some listings removed for this reason, however, you might be able start an item not received request right away. Though eBay won't be able to tell you details of the seller's account, you can contact eBay Customer Service to double check your options.

For purchases made from a seller's account that has been compromised/used without their authorization, you also may need to wait until the expected delivery date to start a request through eBay. The process in the Resolution Center will tell you if it is too soon to open a request through the site, but Customer Service can usually begin this process for you sooner.

The Resolution center won't let you open a request if payment has not been recorded. If PayPal shows you have paid, while eBay shows unpaid, you can open a claim within PayPal stating that the listing was removed by eBay before payment could be applied. Alternatively, if PayPal shows your payment as "unclaimed", you can cancel the payment directly in the transaction details on PayPal.
