What to do if your Ebay package is delivered to the wrong address

First check to see if the seller shipped to the address shown in the order details, found in your purchase history. Verify that your shipping address is correct in your account and that there is no sign that it has been compromised. Be sure to check with your neighbors or leasing office to see if the package was misdelivered nearby. If you are unable to locate your purchase or if the seller shipped to a different address than the one you provided, you can file an ‘item not received’ request for a replacement or refund. You can open this from the options in the dropdown menu to right of the item in your purchase history or through the resolution center.

If the seller has not responded after 3 full business days you will have the option to ask eBay to step in by going to Purchase history > Returns and cancelled orders > Request details > Ask ebay to step in.

Typically an ‘item not received’ request is closed in the seller’s favor if the tracking shows Delivered. Contact Customer Service prior to asking eBay to step in to show that the item was delivered to a different address than what you provided. If a decision was made before you can contact Customer Service, you can work with eBay through an appeal (details here).
