Why you must have irrigation to do crop farming business.

Historically, crop farming was powered by natural water sources. I see so many people still do crop farming and they are dependent entirely on natural sources of water but km contemporary times, you must have an irrigation system to be able to properly do crop farming without irrigation. These are the reasons:

1) Climate change causing irregular and unpredictable rainfall patterns. Climate change is real and it doesn't make sense to depend on that kind of unpredictable factor for your crop farming business.

2) Water needs vary amongst crops and irrigation helps you to deliver watering as per specific needs of the crops.

3) Commercial crop farming runs production all year round and dependence on rainfall can't guarantee that.

Take for instance, in Africa we have raining and dry season. The raining season can be dealt it, what about the dry season. Most crops need water to survive although some don't need much water but you still have to get water to them. This is why you need irrigation system, so you can water your plants during the dry season and have them grow well. Som part of Africa can be dry, those areas they don't have enough water and low rainfall , irrigation system can be practiced as well.
