If you're looking for a job but don't have any experience or money, it can be hard to find an entry-level opportunity. In some cases, though, your best bet may be to start at the bottom. There is a flip side to this coin — while you might have to work your way up from the bottom position, you will also likely get more opportunities and better opportunities (at least initially).

With that in mind, what are the best jobs for students who want experiences but don't have any money? Here are some suggestions.

1. Police and Cops:

Yes, being a police officer is the most dangerous job. But the pay is good and it's a great training ground for the future. You will find many courses related to law enforcement at most 4-year schools and a few 2-year colleges. You can also get your feet wet in training programs offered by some police departments, like the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Law enforcement agencies are always looking for young people who want to help keep their communities safe, so be sure to check out your local law enforcement agency's recruiting website.

2. Sales:

While some people might cringe at the idea of selling products, a career in sales can be a great option for students who need to earn money and have no experience or credentials. Whether it's in-person or online, sales jobs can pay well and offer opportunities for growth. And if you get some experience under your belt and find out that you don't like it, you can always move on to something else.

3. Concierge:

Want to have fun and make money? Become a private concierge for the rich and famous. In this role you'll meet with clients, set up appointments, hand out gifts, help with travel arrangements… basically anything that anyone could want. It can be a very lucrative business for the right person. For example, Concierge Preferred, based in Phoenix, Arizona, offers clients valet parking as well as concierge services such as limo service, personal shopping and restaurant recommendations.

One word of warning: While it might sound like a great way to make some quick cash, working as a concierge can often be an unpleasant experience. Clients may expect you to be a servant to them and they may want things that they could get themselves. It's up to you whether this job is right for you or not.
