Channels of distribution is described as the path through which goods move from the producer to the consumer it is the path through which ownership of product is transferred as it moves from the producer to the customers. channel of distribution can also be called channels of goods dissemination, furthermore it is depicted as the way through which merchandise move from the maker to the purchaser it is the way through which responsibility for a goods or commodities is moved as it moves from the maker to the final consumers. As mentioned above the producer or manufacturer is the first destination of the goods or commodity before the wholesalers and the retailer's (middle-men) comes in. They specialise in performing activities relating to the purchase and sales of goods in the process of their flow from producer to the final buyers they are institution situated in the marketing channel as point between the producer and the final buyers, in other words they have some expertise in performing exercises connecting with the buy and deals of merchandise during the time spent their stream from maker to the last purchasers they are organization arranged in the advertising channel as point between the maker and the last purchasers, some channels of distribution include: P-C, P-A-R-C, P-W-C, P-W-R-C, P-A-W-R, P-A-C, P-R-C where P is the producer, A is the agent, R is the retailer, W is the wholesaler, and C is the consumer.
