How to oversee a growing business can be challenging, but there are some steps you can take to make it easier.
1. Don't be afraid to delegate. If you're the only one who knows how to do something, that's okay, you were the only one who knew how to do it when the company started. But as your business grows and becomes more complex, it's important that others learn how to handle tasks so that you can focus on higher level tasks like strategy and vision.
2. Hire people who complement your strengths and weaknesses. You don't need someone who has exactly the same skillset as you; what would be the point? Instead, look for people who have complementary strengths and weaknesses this will help keep things balanced within your company.
3. Invest in technology that makes life easier for everyone involved with your company (not just yourself). It might seem expensive at first glance, but in the long run it will save time and money by making sure everyone is working efficiently together without any unnecessary roadblocks getting in their way (like having to manually enter data into an Excel spreadsheet).
